CANTON - M. Katherine Fouts, 89, of 129 S. First St. died at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, at Sunset Manor.
Born Nov. 18, 1910, in Augusta, Ky., to Bruce J. and Hattie Jane Sturgell Walker, she married Orie M. Fouts on Sept. 16, 1950, in Canton. He died Oct. 9, 1970.
Four brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving is one nephew, David Walker of Canton.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at White Chapel Memory Gardens. The Rev. Tim Ferrill will officiate. There will be no visitation. MurphySedgwick Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to her church.
