The article includes: "The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white dress with a fitted satin bodice and sweetheart neckline, the long sleeves ending in points over the wrists, and the net skirt with appliqued satin flowers formed a train. Her finger-tip veil was caught with a coronet of seed pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of white carnations tied with a net bow.

"The bride had as her maid of honor, her sister, Miss Audrey Fogle, who wore a yellow satin gown with puff sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. She carried a nosegay of yellow carnations and wore a headdress of the same flower. The bridesmaids, Miss Norma Jean Fogle, sister of the bride, and Mrs. June Stonecipher, cousin of the bride, wore green satin gowns similar to the maid of honor's and carried nosegays of pink carnations. Their headdresses were of the same flower."
