Harry Baxter
Addison, Sept 17-The funeral of Harry Baxter, highly respected resident of Tuscarora, who dropped dead yesterday morning at 6:15 o'clock, one hour after he had arisen, and was preparing to perform his usual duties for the day at his farm, will be held from the First Presbyterian Church in Addison Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. John V. Axtell officiating. Interment will be made in Addison Rural Cemetery.
Mr. Baxter was born 34 years ago on the same farm where he died. He was married 10 years ago last August to Miss Christina Eaton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eaton of Tuscarora. An ambitious and industrious young man, he followed farming his entire life. His sudden death comes as a sad blow to his immediate family, as well as to the entire community, where he has gained many friends during his life time.
He was a member of the Addison Odd Fellows' Lodge, and formerly belonged to the branch of the Corning Moose and also Freeman Grange. Although Mr. Baxter had not been feeling in the best of health for a few months past, his condition was not alarming, and was apparently in good health the day prior to his death, when he was in Addison on business. Besides his widow, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Baxter of Orr Hill and an infant daughter, Alice Rose, 11 months of age.
