Lizzie Mae Brown Garth, age 98, of Huntsville passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at a local healthcare facility. She was born in Limestone County, Alabama to the late Jim and Leona Brown. Lizzie was preceded in death by her parents, Jim (Shaker) Brown, Sr., and Leona F. Brown; husband, Willie Garth; sister, Lena Jones; brothers, Jim Brown, Jr., Herman L. Brown, Robert Brown, Alton Washington, and Clifton Washington.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Moses Chapel Primitive Baptist Church (372 Moses Chapel Road, Madison, AL 35758) with Elder Reginald Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Madison Memory Gardens.Interment will be in Madison Memory Gardens, Royal F.H. directing.
