Wiley P. Black b. Feb 1866, early 1900's per family lore "stayed in trouble alot in the Asheville area" and was given choice of "stay in NC and go to jail or go to TN" He moved to Knoxville. Per family lore, he was a bootlegger and owned bars on the Lexington Ave area of Asheville. One establishment.. The Black Cat Lounge is listed on Lexington Ave in an early 1900 phone directory.
