Throughout her life, Grace had lived in Hannibal, Oswego, Fulton, Cato, Tully and Manhattan (NY City) and Queens.
On March 4, 1911 she married Clarence Edwin Althouse, formerly of Hannibal, at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Manhattan, NY. They had one child, Burr, named after Clarence's father. They had lived at 110-35 108th Street, Hollis, Queens.

March 10, 1937 became separated per judgment at Brooklyn Supreme Court due to Clarence behavior as an alcoholic. - In September 1946, Grace was granted a divorce decree from the Oswego county Supreme Court by Justice Abram Zoller. She resided in Syracuse for about 28 years until her death.
