Charles W. Eyers, 64, of 1927 Delaware died today at 1:40 a.m. at Mercy Medical Center, following an extended illness.

He was born in Oshkosh on March 16, 1912, son of Nelson and Ida Eyers, and was married here to Geneva Montag on Oct. 3, 1935.

Mr. Eyers had been employed as a machinist for 30 years at Rockwell Standard Division. He also sold real estate for Vette Realty Co. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church and Local 291 of United Auto Workers.

Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Hable, Oshkosh; two sons, Charles W. Eyers Fond du Lac, and John E. Eyers, Oshkosh; three brothers, George, Clarence and Richard Eyers, Oshkosh; one sister, Mrs. Mae Reichenberger, Oshkosh; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, with the Rev. Emmanuel Mulhall officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at Marquardt Funeral Home Sunday from 6-8 p.m. The rosary will be recited Sunday at 7 p.m.
