DALEVILLE - Robert Lee Wade, age 72, of Daleville, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Marsh a Freight Engineer for over forty years. Robert was a member of Chapel North-Noblesville, Indiana; He enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool, playing basketball and other games with family and friends. He enjoyed repairing his rentals, he and his wife owned.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Esther Wade; sister, Jean Jones; and brother, Richard Wade.
He is survived by his loving wife, Freda; children, Jason (Kayla) Wade, April (Dayton) Larsh, and Monica Wade; and sisters, Janice (Dick) Clevenger, Joyce (Don) Harmon, Doris Newby, and Patricia Wehlage. Robert is also survived by his best friend, Neville Merchant, Jaylen and Ty Covington, adopted grandsons.
Services will be Monday, November 4, 2013 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 11:00 a.m. until the service. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge
