At the time of his death at Alton Memorial Hospital, Gary was 70 years, 3 months and 18 days old. He was survived by his wife; 1 son of Wood River, Illinois; 1 daughter and son-in-law of Wood River; 7 grandchildren; and 1 brother, Larry Isom of Auburn, Illinois.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the beginning of 1 p.m. funeral services on 04 Nov 2013 at the First Christian Church in Wood River. Burial at Wanda Cemetery followed. Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to the church Building Fund.
