Andrew W. Addleman was the administrator of his father's estate. After the accounting his total assets were $1,880.92, minus total credits of $1,301.26, leaving a balance of $579.66. The estate paid for the funeral expenses for Vera Addleman who died four days before her father. In July, 1875 Miles sold 15 acres to Thomas Morrow and in October, 1875 he sold 26 acres of his deceased father's property to his brother Robert. H. Addleman.

"REUBEN MILES ADDLEMAN, eldest [living] son of Andrew and Margaret Addleman, was born in Huntindon County, May 15, 1832, and came to Venango Township, Butler County, with his parents when he was about eleven years old. He received a common school education, and assisted his father in clearing and improving the farm upon which he now resides. In 1860 he married NANCY J. ATWELL, a daughter of James and Martha (Boyle) Atwell, of Marion Township, and has the following children, viz: Louisa, wife of Leander Lewis; Margaret, wife of Frank Calvert; Olive, wife of William Graham; Addison P.; Andrew; Elmeda; Vera; and Fannie. Mr. Addleman is a Republican, and has held various offices in Venango Township."

"Mr. R. M. Addleman [Blue] of near Eau Claire died suddenly of a stroke of paralysis on Friday, Oct. 18, 1905. Mr. Addleman was born at Warrior's Mark, Huntingdon county, PA., on May 15, 1832. He was the oldest son of Andrew and Margaret (Henry) Addleman. In 1860 he was married to Nancy Jane Atwell, and to this union eight children were born, all of "whom are living, except a daughter, who died four days previous to her father's death. Mr. Addleman had lived on the same farm for the past forty-five years and was an industrious, hard working man. He had been a member of the Eau Claire Methodist church for five years, having been converted during a revival meeting conducted by Rev. Rinker at that place. . . . The deceased leaves a wife, seven children and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. A. A. Feely of Rimersberg, PA., Mrs. Lucinda Rosenbery and B. P. Addleman of Pence, "Kansas, Mrs. G. H. Sloan and A. P. Addleman of Piqua, Kansas, and Mrs. L. J. Dunn of Pittsburg."
