"Went down with Bridge
Winthrop Reed and Son of Concord Were Not Badly Hurt
Concord, Sept. 9.--As Winthrop Reed and his son were crossing the Gould bridge over Moose river yesterday the bridge gave way, precipitating them into the river. Aside from slight bruises tey escaped unhurt. the Reed family are fated in crossing bridges as a few years ago Mr. Reed's brother in Waterford, while crossing a bridge in his town with a pair of horses, went down with bridge and team into the brook."
