Wife of John H. Carlile Obit from Oilton Newspaper January 1924: Mrs. Mary Jane Francis Carlile of Oilton, Oklahoma passed to her home above, January 16 1924, age 83 yr, 7mos, 15 days. She was the mother of 12 children, 5 of them with the father having preceded her to the spirit land. She leaves to mourn her 7 children and a host of relatives and friends. Her illness was of a long duration and her suffering intense. She was at peace with God and has gone to live with Him. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Smith of Oilton, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charley Atkins (Dola Belle)She was laid to rest in the Brooks Cemetery.
