Former Resident Dies in California
Word of the death Friday of Mrs. Chauncey W. Penoyer, a daughter of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Temple E. Dorr, has been received in Saginaw. Her father was one of Saginaw's pioneer lumbermen, who later owned iron mines in Minnesota. With the late Wellington R. Burt he contributed toward the fund which made possible the construction of Saginaw's Auditorium.

Mrs. Penoyer died at her home in Pasadena, Calif. Anne Dorr was born in Saginaw, and she was married here to Chauncey W. Penoyer, who died a number of years ago. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Pomeroy of London, Eng., a son Richard Dorr Penoyer, now in the service, and a sister, Mrs. Victor Borosini of Pasadena.
