EDWARD RUSSELL ADELSON of Annapolis, MD
He was a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War as an electronics officer supporting F-80 and F-86 fighter pilots and retired from Martin Marietta as Vice President of Operations and later as V.P. of Industry Activities at Aeronautical Radio Incorporated. Ed's many contributions to avionics are commemorated in the National Air and Space Museum, Dulles Faculty. Surviving are his son, Stephan Adelson; step-children, Sherry Latimer, Susie Winternitz, David Winternitz and Lisa Bartlett; step-grandchildren, Tara Maloof, Mike Winternitz, Joel Winternitz and Adrianna Lynn Latimer. A private family funeral will be held November 5th, 2013. A Celebration of Life will be held in Annapolis, MD in January 2014. Easton Funeral Home in Newton, MA is serving the family.
