ERNST, Annie Beatrice - 96, Chelsea, formerly of Blockhouse, passed away February 3, 2004, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Fauxburg, she was a daughter of the late Enos and Sarah (Whitman) Berringer. Her favourite pastimes where knitting and crocheting. She was a member of St. James' Anglican Church, Mahone Bay. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughter, Garnice Baker; her husband, Douglas, Snairs Crossing, Northwest; son, Lloyd and his wife, Melba, Oakhill; grandchildren, Kevin and David, Snairs Crossing; Darryl, Ottawa; Wendy (Kevin) Emino, Wentzells Lake; Krisanne, Montreal; step great-grandchildren, Christian and Josh Emino; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Uriel Ernst; grandson, Kerry Lynn Baker; sister, Minnie Mossman; brothers, Harvey, Hughie, and Howard. Visiting will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday, February 5, in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 6, in St. James' Anglican Church, Mahone Bay, Rev. Ian Wissler officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Rest Cemetery, Blockhouse. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to St. James' Anglican Church, Canadian Diabetes Association or any other charity.
