One by one, the pioneers, the men who hewed a prosperous county from a stretch of wilderness, who built their prosperity might enjoy the fruits of their labors, are answering the summons oft but inevitable call from on high.

Julian Larson, rugged, honest, straightforward stands today before his Maker and who can say aught but that the verdict will be "well done thou good and faithful servant?" Mr. Larson came down from Red Lake Falls where he has been staying with his son-in-law, Nels P. Hande, to visit his brothers Carl Larson and Anton L. Rude, and his daughters, Mrs. Alfred Foslien and Mrs. Carl Augdahl. It was while staying with the latter that he became sick with pneumonia and died on Sunday morning last. He leaves 6 daughters all of whom are married, besides 4 brothers to mourn his death. The funeral occurred from the West Moe Church on Tuesday, Rev. Fosmark of Fergus Falls officiating. Brother, Emil Larson, of Kenmare, ND and son-in-law, Mr. Halvor Evenson of Wolverton, were present at the funeral.
