Wife of A. Keeney

Annie Kathran Ohlrich Keeney was born at Rain Berg, Germany, June 24, 1880, and died at their farm home west of this city, Tuesday noon, May 2, 1916.

In 1891 she came with her parents to America. When 14 years of age she confirmed in the German Methodist church. November 2, 1904, she was united in marriage to Mr Albert Keeney, and to this union were born four children, two sons and two daughters, one daughter having died in infancy.

Mrs Keeney had been in failing health for some time, having been ill in bed for some three weeks, so her death was not wholly unexpected.

She leaves to mourn her untimely departure: a husband; two sons, George and Nelson; one daughter, Ella May; a mother; four sisters and two brothers.

The funeral was held Thursday afternoon, Rev. W. J. C. Bond officiating and burial in Graceland. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.
