Obituary:
Enoch Dick, resident of this village and paying teller at the Chatham Bank, fell dead on Saturday last while attending to his duties at the window of his desk.
He had shown no signs of illness, but fell dead from stroke of apoplexy.
Born in White Plains about 1827. Was elected Town Clerk in 1849 and held that position until 1857.
Leaves a wife whom he married about 6 yrs ago, but no children. His ancestors and relatives are well known in this place.
