She was preceded in death by her parents George W. "Buddy" and Mary Louise (Greenough) Emerson; her brother, William R. "Billy" Emerson; two sister-in-laws, Sandra Kay Emerson and Patsy Emerson; one brother-in-law, Ralph Whittington; a niece, Tammy Emerson; and one great nephew, Kevin Emerson.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Susan (Crisco) and Michael Stewart of Mobile, AL and Stacey (Crisco) and Matthew Kieper of Grand Bay, AL; five grandchildren, Justin Stewart, Hayley Stewart, Seth Stewart, Heather Stewart and Katelynn Kieper; sisters and brothers, JoAnn Whittington of Hattiesburg, MS, Bonnie and Edward Goff of Big Point, MS, George A. "Bubba" Emerson of Cheyenne, WY, Terrill F. Emerson of Georgia, George W. "Wallace" Emerson of Big Point, MS, Lynda and Calvin Buckelew of Spanish Fort, AL, Donna and Larry Hall of Moss Point, MS, Marcia G. Visitation for Janie Crisco will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Escatawpa Baptist Church. Funeral service will immediately follow with the Rev. Earl Greenough officiating.
Interment will be at Macphelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS.
Serving as pallbearers will be Walt Goff, Ralph "R.E." Whittington, Michael Hall, Tony Conway, Edward "Buddy" Stewart, and Steve Stewart.
