Linda was born on June 6, 1944 on D-Day in Enid, OK. She was a graduate of Cohn High School, Vanderbilt/Peabody University and Nashville Law School. She attended Concordra Lutheran Church where she met her husband Bob. She was a Docent at Cheekwood and the Governor's Residence, and also a member of the Rachel Jackson Garden Club and Metro Beautification program. She loved nature, wildflowers, animals, and dogs, and loved to cook for friends and family. She will be missed by her family, and the friends who touched her life. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Bob Reed; son, Michael (Summer) Reed; grandchildren, Mabry and Bodey Reed; mother, Florence Schultz; sister, Karen Krause; brother, Warren Schultz.
A life celebration service will be at 10:30am on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 800 Bellevue Rd. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
