Oliver Deen "Bootsy" Wallace, 57, died on November 1, 2008, in Atlanta, Georgia, where he had lived for thirty years. He grew up and attended public school in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1968. He served in the United States Air Force. He drove trucks for Yellow Freight and Ryder. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Wallace; grandparents, Venis and Ella Mae Wilder; and son, Donzell Hayslett. He is survived by his mother, son, brother, three sisters and six grandchildren. Memorial service: November 11, 2008 at the Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Cremation with inurnment at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
