A son of Sylvester Brennan & Madaline[sic-Magdelena] Krieg; he was born in Washington Township,Jefferson County,Pennsylvania.

He was killed while working as a Flagman on the P.R.R. line at Oil City,Pennsylvania when another train side swiped the engine he was riding on. He had gotten caught between the tenders of the 2 engines and was crushed.
