His death notice in the 14 Feb 1966 Valley Independent, Monessen, PA reads:
"WILSON - Mark E., 94, of 321 Henry St., Belle Vernon, died in Charleroi-Manessen Hospital Sunday, Feb. 13, 1966, at 9 a.m. after a short illness. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Helen (McCoy) Wilson; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Hyatt of Washington, D. C.; one son, C. E. Skinner of Houston, Tex.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home, Belle Vernon, after 7 p.m. Feb. 14, and thereafter from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service there Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. S. Arthur Talman, pastor of Belle Vernon's First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Boston, Pa. Harold R. Toner, funeral director."

"A retired railroader, Mr. Wilson was a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge of Belle Vernon.
"He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Helen (McCoy) Wilson; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Hyatt of Washington, D.C.; a son, C. E. Skinner of Houston, Tex.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
"Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today at the Harold R. Toner Funeral Home, Belle Vernon, and thereafter from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m."
