Ann Stephanie Gardner, 60, of Naperville, IL died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, IL. She was born December 24, 1946 in LaPorte, IN.

Mrs. Gardner received a B.S. degree in Nursing from Northern Illinois University. She was a Registered Nurse and worked for 30 plus years at Central DuPage Hospital. She was a very active member of Community United Methodist Church, especially in adult ministry and also Stephen Ministry.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Richard Houston Gardner, Naperville, IL; her daughters, Lara G. (Tod) Stanton, Naperville, IL and Karyn L. (Chad) Holstead, Plainfield, IL; her parents, Joseph H. and Peggy M. (nee Judd) Charles, North Liberty, IN; her brother, Rev. Rex S. (Kathy) Charles, Waterloo, IN; and sister, Rev. Jennifer Charles, Rockford, IN; her grandchildren, Logan James, and Jackson Thomas Stanton, Taylor Lynn and Samantha Rae Holstead.

A visitation will be held at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL on Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 4 to 8 PM. A Memorial service will by held on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Community United Methodist Church, 20 N. Center St., Naperville, IL. Memorials preferred to Community United Methodist Church Foundation in her memory. A Memorial service will also be held at a later date in North Liberty, IN.
