She was married to Glen Martin (1916–1988), the son of William Riley Martin (1859–1924) and Mary Elzadie (McCartt) Martin (1880–1957).
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and of Eastern Star Mary Morrison Chapter 500.
Living in Clarksville, Goldie was 87 years old when she passed away on December 23, 2006 at Gateway Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers Hardy Weaver and Clarence Weaver and by sisters Carol (Martin) Berry and Louise Martin. Survivors included two daughters and a son-in-law, two sons and a daughter-in-law, brothers Paul Weaver and Donnie Weaver, sisters, Lassie (Weaver) Woody and Dosha (Weaver) Raley, eleven grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, and burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville.
