Friday 12 October 1917:

"Mrs. Mary Louth of Westernport, a lady highly respected in the community, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Welsh, Saturday evening 6 October 1917, following a brief illness, aged 66 years.

Four daughters survive, Mrs. Nora White, Mrs. Anna Mary Arthur and Miss Lucy A. Louth, of Baltimore; Mrs. John R. Welsh, of Westernport, and one son, Edward J. Louth, of Chicago.

The funeral services took place at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport. Rev. Thomas E. Gallagher, the pastor, officiated."
