James Edwards (Jimmy) Roberts, 69, of Christiansburg, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2012 due to injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident on RT 460/11 in Shawsville, Va.
Jimmy was preceded in death by;
his parents; Howard and Annie Jennelle Roberts;
his wife; Donna Proco Roberts (2006);
grandson; William Edward Roberts, Jr.;
brothers; Richard Roberts and Junior Roberts.
Jimmy is survived by;
his children,
William Edward "Billy" Roberts, Sr. and wife Kim of Orland, Fla.
Carolyn Roberts Masinsky and her husband Gerry Masinsky of Columbia, SC.
grandchildren,
Olivia Donna Roberts
Levi James Roberts, and
Logan Shea Masinsky;

Jimmy was the owner/operator of Christiansburg Electrical and Plumbing. He enjoyed wood working and built custom furniture, flying model airplanes and gardening, especially canning tomatoes. Most of all Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family. The family would like to thank Earl and Phyllis Alderman, Jean Poff, and Rosalee Bishop for all of their help and support.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Home Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Home Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg.
