Jimmie Ray Arington was the son of Raymond T. & Pearl Elliott Arrington. He was born in Ballard County, Kentucky January 28, 1935. He and Doris Larue Puckett were married and had a son and a daughter. He died at his home in Lovelaceville on September 20, 2003 at the age of 68.
Mr. Arington owned A&T Wholesale Grocery and was a partner in Triangle Wholesale Grocery and Golden Rule Wholesale Grocery. He was a member of Lovelaceville Baptist Church.
He was survived by Doris, his two children, two sisters, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
His parents, one brother and three sisters preceded him in death.
