Margaret Brockett passed away peacefully at 100 years of age in her home on March 28, 2007. She was an 80-year resident of Riverside. Margaret was born on January 27, 1907 in Clinton, Iowa and moved with her family to California in 1916. Margaret graduated from Perris Union High School as Valedictorian in 1925 and from Riverside Community College in 1927. Thereafter, she served for 45 years in the Riverside County School Department. Margaret was married to Ralph H. Brockett with whom she had twin sons, Ronald Dee Brockett and Donald Guy Brockett. She will be dearly missed and is survived by her two grandchildren, daughter-in-law, nephews and nieces and many close friends. Her service will be held on Wed. April 4th at 11:30 a.m. at the Garden of Prayer Mortuary, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, with burial to follow at the Perris Valley Cemetery, 915 N. Perris Blvd.
