Martha Holtzen, 94, Fairbury, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at Fairbury Care Center.
Mrs. Holtzen was born July 28, 1904, at Shickley, Neb. Her husband, Otto, died in 1960. Survivors include two sons, Earl of Kenai, Alaska, and Gerald of Anaheim, a daughter, Elaine Egner of Kenai; a brother, Martin Deepe of Hebron, a sister Dorothy McLaughlin of Hebron; 11 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, Fairbury, the Rev. Charles Schmidt officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, Kan. Memorials may be made to the church.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Nuckolls-Meyer Funeral Home, 927 Street, Fairbury 68352, and one hour before the service at church.
