Thomas Morency was my uncle. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1909. He was the son of Loretta and Alfred Morency, and the brother of Alfred [my father]Marie, Catherine, and Joseph. I don't remember him that well as my dad passed when I was 5 and I did not see him that much. I do know he was a very generous and caring person. He and my uncle Joe would always give me a new doll at Christmas time. On October 13, 1942 my uncle joined the army and served in WW2. After returning home from the war he and his brother Joe took care of their parents until they passed. He never married, as he was to busy taking care of his family. He and my uncle Joe bought and shared a home in Lindenwald, NJ. He worked as a bridge builder. I believe he is buried in a cemetery in Lindenwald NJ.
He was very active in local politics, and at Christmas time he and my Uncle would make sure that those who had little would have something on that day and other days to. God Bless you Uncle Tom. Anyone who leaves a note or Flower at his site Thank you and God Bless you.
He was 77 years old when he passed.
