Mary Lou Woepse, age 77, passed away, Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice. She was born December 28, 1935 to Miguel and Matilda (Sentoya) Carranza in Big Wells, TX. Mary Lou married Wayne Woepse on May 28, 1960 at Lakeland College. Together they took care of the family farm, where she enjoyed the simple things in nature including her garden and flower beds. She enjoyed being around friends and family and making them laugh. She was a member of the Ladies Guild at St. John's UCC - Schwarzwald.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, five children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two sisters; Lydia Galvin and Beatrice Mata, sister-in-law Janet (Melvin) Bitter. Also loved by other relatives.
Preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Belinda Woepse.
Visitation on Friday, November 15 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42, Howards Grove). Continued visitation at St. John's UCC - Schwarzwald, Orchard Rd., Elkhart Lake on Saturday, November 16, from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Pastor Robert C. Hamilton presiding. Burial to follow at St. Paul Cemetery - Town of Mosel.
