Christina Blauvelt, wife of Charles E. Smith, died at 2:15 this morning, at her home, corner of Burd and Cedar Streets. Funeral services at her late residence on Saturday, at 3 p.m. Interment at convenience of family in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith was the daughter of James D. Blauvelt, of Nanuet. The news of her death will be received with sorrow by a large circle of friends. Mrs. Smith was a devoted member of the Presbyterian Church of Nyack, and her true Christian life was an exemplification of her religion. Not only will she be missed by the members of her household, to whom she was greatly endeared, but by every one who knew her. She is survived by her husband and four sons, Edwin R., Charles, Frank and Howard Smith. The heartfelt sympathy of all is extended to the bereaved family.
