Marvel Louise Green Brown, age 84, died Thursday November 14, 2013. Mrs. Brown was a life-long resident of Brunswick and was a member of Glyndale Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Neal Brown, Sr., and 5 children, Louise Brown, Njoni Vining, Rose Brown, Richard Brown and Marlon Brown.

She is survived by 3 sons; Robert Neal Brown, Jr. (Betty), Sheppard Mitchel Green (Denise Wendel), and Rodney Marvin Brown (Megan), all of Brunswick; a sister, Juanita Green of Brunswick; and two brothers, Roy Green and Noel "Bo" Green, both of Brunswick. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Glyndale Baptist Church with the Reverend Ken Creekmore Officiating. Burial will follow in Palmetto Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be Ray Anderson, Jim Barton, Kenny Beverly, Bobby Haddock, John Smith and Anthony Walden. Honorary pallbearers will be the Chosen Ones Sunday School Class.
