Albert F. Schollmeyer, 56, Route 3, died Tuesday at St. Mary's Health Center. He was born July 6, 1917, at Hope, the son of Henry H. and Louise Lipskoch Schollmeyer. He was married Sept. 23, 1944, at Hope, to Ethel Kreter Schollmeyer, who survives at the home.
Mr. Schollmeyer was a member of the Central United Church of Christ.
He had been employed with Schanzmeyer Ford Co., and had worked as a farmer near Hope before moving to Jefferson City in 1959.
Other survivors include: Two sons, Ron Schollmeyer, 2411 Meadow Lark Lane, and Larry Schollmeyer, St. Charles; a sister, Mrs. Viola Nolting, Hermann; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Freeman Chapel, with the Rev. Joseph Trower and the Rev. Steve Buchholz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery at Hope.
