CRESAPTOWN — Catherine L. Meagher, 78, of Hersh’s Trailer Park, Cresaptown, died Wednesday, May 3, 1995, at Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 3, 1917, in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Ruth (Walsh) Seifarth. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Seifarth; one granddaughter, and one great-grandson. Mrs. Meagher was a homemaker and was formerly employed at Schwab’s. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, Frostburg. Surviving are her husband, James L. Meagher, three daughters, JoAnne VanMeter and husband Leroy, Cumberland, Ray Cook, Cresaptown, Sadie Brode and husband Robert, McCoole; one step daughter, Shirley Fauple and husband Paul, Rockville; one sister, Millie McDonough, Cumberland; two brothers, Clifford Seifarth, and Cedi Seifarth, Frostburg; eight grandchildren, Debra J. Lynn, Donald J. Cook Kimberly K. Worrell, Sandra Ray Yoder, Scott R. Brode, Dawn Laber, Brenda K. Cook and Todd R. Brode; three step-grandchildren, Paul Fauple, Kim Fauple, and Scott Fauple; six great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Hollis officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Robert Seifarth Jr., Donald Cook, Jeffrey Yoder, Arthur Worrell, Mark Laber, and Ernest Lynn. Cumberland Times-News, Friday, May 5, 1995
