She was born June 27, 1921, at Bemidji to Ross and Tagna Johnson Weekley. As a girl she moved with her family to Gully where her father owned a hardware store. At the age of 12, they moved back to Bemidji where she graduated from Bemidji High School and later attended Bemidji State Teacher's College. She married Jack Doran in 1941 at Bemidji, where they resided. She worked for the Beltrami County Attorney's Office, the Beltrami County Draft Board and for the Bureau of Indian Affairs until her retirement.
She married Irving "Ubs" Olson June 25, 1969, at Bemidji and they resided in Bemidji until he died in 1988. In 1991, she moved to Gully where she had since resided.
She was a member and past president of the Women's Elks Club, past president of the Ralph Gracie American Legion Auxiliary in Bemidji, past president and honorary lifetime member of the Bemidji Curling Club, a former member of the Bemidji Town and Country Golf Club and a past mayor of Gully. She loved painting, reading, dancing, music and journaling family history.
Survivors include a son, John (Mary) Doran of Plymouth, Minn.; two daughters, Mary (Bill) Barthelemy of Bemidji and Laurie (Shawn) Sebenaler of McIntosh; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jack: her second husband, Irving; a brother, Orson Weekley; and a sister, Mona Morken.
