MOTT: John Bay, 97, died May 17, 2010, at Good Samaritan Society, Mott. A celebration of life was held in June in Carson.
John was born April 25, 1913, at Carson to Reinhart Bay and Amelia Steinley, married July 06, 1946, at Carson, Grant County, North Dakota, to Mildred Fliehman.
He is survived by four children and their extended families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard and Sam; and sister, Pauline.
John grew up on his parent's homestead and later took over the farm. After retiring, he moved into Carson then three years ago moved in the Good Samaritan.
