Ann Lee Zalk was the daughter of Dr. David P. and Helen Anderson. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota. She and her husband Bob were married for 36 years. To this union, two daughters were born: Amy and Jenna. Her care for others was evident in all she did as a wife, mom, sister, friend, social worker, teacher, interior designer, and full time care giver. Ann Lee loved her summers at Ten Mile Lake near Hackensack, Minnesota. She enjoyed sailing, being outdoors and reading good literature. Family and friends were Ann Lee's greatest joy. She had a bright and loving spirit and was able to connect with people of all ages and walks of life. Her faith sustained her throughout life and especially helped her to face a difficult year of illness with great strength and courage.Ann Lee died Sunday, November 20, 2005 at Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, Iowa at the age of 59 years of heart failure.
