After serving in the US Navy Air Corps during World War II, Harold returned to Minneapolis to join the family floral and nursery business where he spent his entire career. Retiring at age 65 as Senior Financial Officer, Harold and wife, Jean relocated to Sun City where they enjoyed the warm, sunny climate, many friends and their community at Faith Presbyterian Church and Royal Oaks. A joyful, generous and faith-filled person, Harold was a friend to many as he volunteered his time regularly visiting others in the Royal Oaks care center or singing with the Royal Oaks Chorus.
