Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Christy Morningside Funeral Home. The Rev.Walter Neely of Christian Life Fellowship will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Mr. McKenna was born Aug. 10, 1929, in Sioux City and was raised in Oto, Iowa. He lived in Sioux City for a few years. He married Opal Brown Stukas Oct. 2, 1948, at Dakota City. They lived in California for more than 20 years and returned to Sioux City in 1972. He was a former employee of Armour & Co. and had been employed in production work at Kind & Knox Gelatin, Inc. for seven years.
Mr. McKenna was a member of Christian Life Fellowship.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry L., of Red Bluff, Calif.; two stepsons. Eugene L. Stukas of Sioux City and Harold D. Stukas of Athens, Texas; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Walter (Loretta) Neely of Sioux City, Ellie Thompson of Santa Ana, Calif., Mrs. Don (Kay) Dennis of Baker, Calif., and Mrs. Bill (Sandy) Powers of Saylorville, Iowa; a brother, James of Oto, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Leo (Mary) Waderick of Hornick, Iowa, and Mrs. Angelo (Patricia) Incitti of Pueblo, Colo.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
