Hannah Woodworth Struble, a pioneer of this state, who came to Portland 40 years ago, wife of Walter B. Struble, Deputy Clerk of Multnomah County, died Saturday after an illness of about a year.
Mrs. Struble resided with her husband at 30 North Twentieth street. She was the daughter of Jonathan Fairchild, and was well-known among the pioneers of the city. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and took an active part in all church affairs.
Mrs. Struble is survived by her husband, four children, Mrs. R. W. Price and W. Burr Struble, of Portland; George W. Struble, of Bethlehem, Pa., and Lieutenant Arthur D. Struble, with the United States Navy at Quincy, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. William Chambers, of East Twelfth street, and six grandchildren.
