NEW ALBANY – Luddy Elaine McLaughlin Abbott, 84, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, at Pontotoc Hospital. She was born Nov. 17, 1929, in Pontotoc County to John Milton and Virgie Robbins Cox. She was a member of Martin Baptist Church. She was retired from Benchcraft.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 19, at United Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Chip Johnson and the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Sand Springs Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Tony Mike McLaughlin; her second husband, Ocie Abbott; two brothers; and three sisters.
