He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Jean (Peyton) Miller.
He worked for the Duval County Road Patrol and then the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office for 20 years. Bob served in the U.S. Marines and fought in the Korean War. After his retirement from JSO, he was an inve3stigator for the Public Defender's office in Jacksonville and then the State of Florida. He lived his retirement years in FLorahome, FL and Keystone Heights, FL.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Kelso, Mike Miller, Matt Miller and Richard Miller. He is also survived by his three granddaughters, Jessica Miller Kingsley, Julia Miller and Jarrett Miller.
At Bob's request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Hospice of Citrus County of the Nature Coast, Community Hospice of Northeast Florida or Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida.
Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
