Easter Mae Abrams, 64, a resident of Calvert, died Feb. 10, 2004 at a hospital in Mobile. A retired housekeeper supervisor for Searcy Hospital in Mt. Vernon, she was a member of the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Calvert where she was a choir member.
She is survived by her husband, Sylvester Abrams Sr. of Calvert; five daughters, Myra Toole, Dana Abrams, Labrenda Abrams, all of Calvert, Sonja Abrams of McIntosh and Tracy Abrams of Mt. Vernon; five sons, Sylvester Abrams Jr. of Chatom, Lonnie Abrams of Citronelle, Marvin Abrams of Mt. Vernon, Lendl Abrams of McIntosh and Corey Jackson of Calvert; sister, Velma Turner of Franklin, Va. and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 17 (today) from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Calvert. Burial will be in the Vaughn Cemetery in McIntosh with Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directing.
