GALLUP -- Funeral services for Malcolm Ray Morgan, 30, will be held Friday, Nov. 15, at 11 a.m. at Rollie Mortuary in Gallup. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Malcolm was born Jan. 23, 1983, in Gallup, into the Tódich'ii'nii (Bitter Water) Clan, born for Kiyaa'aanii (Towering House) Clan. His nali is Tó baazhni'ázhi (Two Who Came to the Water); chei is Honágháahnii (One-walks-around). He died Nov. 11, 2013, in Albuquerque.

Malcolm graduated in 2001 from Gallup High School and attended New Mexico Highlands University, Navajo Technical College, and Oklahoma State University.

He was a rancher, cross-country runner, and participated in high school and amateur rodeos. He enjoyed horseback riding and helping family and friends.

Malcolm is survived by his parents, Ray and Gloria Morgan; brothers, Royce and Dallas Morgan; sister, Ashleigh Morgan-Largo; son, Adam Ciccarello; stepson, Eliott Ciccarello; spouse, Nahnbah Ciccarello; and paternal grandmother, Marie Morgan.

Malcolm is preceded in death by Tully Ashley, Mabel Wauneka and Jack C. Morgan.

Pallbearers will be Ty Morgan, Loren Morgan, Adrian Morgan, Zachary Vigil, and Francis Wauneka.

Honorary pallbearers will be Royce Morgan, Dallas Morgan and Mervin Ashley.
