CLINTON — Adam P. Pollard, 27, of Clinton, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his home in Clinton.
Family will greet family and friends on Sunday, May 5, 2013, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the
Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. A short prayer will conclude
the visitation. Following the services the body will be cremated.
Adam Patrick Pollard was born on October 28, 1985, in Clinton, the son of Patrick and
Lisa (Blanchard) Pollard. He was a 2004 graduate of Clinton High School.
Adam was currently employed with Local 309 Laborers of Rock Island. Prior to the union,
he was employed with Clinton Engineering from 2004-2011.
Adam adored his 1-year-old daughter. He loved spending time on the river with his
family and friends. He was a hard worker. He enjoyed spending time with his faithful
companion Lula. He also enjoyed tending to his many aquariums and snapping turtle.
Adam is survived by his daughter, Halle Pollard; his parents, Pat and Lisa Pollard of
Fulton; his brother, Andrew (Molly) Pollard of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his special friend:
Alisha Greene and her daughter: Hannah of Clinton; his nephew: Aiden; his paternal
grandmother: Jacqueline Pollard of Clinton; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Adam was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Pollard; and his
maternal grandparents, Velda and Clair Pickens.
Memorials can be made to an educational fund being established for his daughter.
