Edith C. Krekel, 84, of 631 Dunham, died at 6:55 a.m. Monday, December 18, 1989, in the Klein unit of Burlington Medical Center.
Born June 22, 1905, in Des Moines County, she was the daughter of Louis F. and Wilhelmina Glaser Krekel.
She was a clerk for many years at Mowers Confectionery. She was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving are two sisters, Iola D. Krekel, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Mae Smith of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
The graveside committal service for Miss Krekel will be held in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a time to be announced later.
