Graveside services and interment for Linda Bone McAbee, 59, of Athens, are scheduled for Monday 2:00 under the pavilion at Post Oak Cemetery, under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, Athens.
Linda passed away Friday morning in Tyler.
She was born in Dallas to the late Charles Franklin and Betty Jo Surratt Bone.
Linda loved taking care of people. She was a Certified Nurse's Aide and had worked for years at Park Highland Nursing Home. She graduated Athens High School and served in the United States Navy and was a Petty Officer.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold Eugene McAbee in 1997, brothers, Phillip Bone in 1994 and David Bone in 2009.
Survivors include her loving children, Damon McAbee and his wife Leah, daughter, Amanda Dawn McAbee, grandchildren, Levi Loden and Kayla Loden, all of Athens, brothers, Charles "Buddy" Bone, Cedar Creek Lake, Kenneth Bone, Athens, Robbie Bone and wife Debra, Athens, sisters, Doris Parker, Dallas, Shelley Riggins, Athens, Francis Bone, Dallas, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Bone, Buddy Bone, Damon McAbee, Levi Loden, Jessie Brushette, Kenneth Bone.
