Amelia I. Wallace, nee Wiggins, 98, of Belleville, IL, was born in Jonesboro, IL, and died at Four Fountains Convalescent Center, Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Wallace had retired from Belleville Township High School where she had worked as a secretary in the counselor's office. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, both in Belleville, IL, and in Sun City, Arizona, where she had previously lived.

Amelia was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Sidney Wallace; her parents, Joseph VanCluster and Luella (Sullivan ) Wiggins; a brother, Arthur Wiggins; and her son-in-law, Joseph Shively.

Surviving are her daughter, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.


Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
